Shots fired through SWAT circumstance, Lakewood police say

LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Officers arrested an armed person Friday night who was holed up in a space for six hours at the High-quality Inn & Suites at West 6th Avenue and Simms Street, Lakewood Police reported in a information release.

In accordance to the Lakewood Law enforcement Department (LPD), officers ended up notified by yet another agency that Casey Henni, 35, was remaining at the resort and was wanted by the Colorado Division of Corrections for menacing with a fatal weapon, fraud, forgery and escape.

LPD officers tried to arrest Henni when he fired a one shot at the officers from a handgun when in his hotel area, according to the launch.
