BILOXI, Miss out on. — The suspect in the lethal shooting of the owner and two employees of a Mississippi Gulf Coastline motel and subsequent dying of a man or woman shot throughout a carjacking was located lifeless soon after a standoff with police Wednesday, authorities explained.
Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer determined the suspect as 32-12 months-old Jeremy Alesunder Reynolds.
Gulfport Police Department’s incoming main, Adam Cooper, explained Reynolds holed up at a Gulfport comfort retail store immediately after fleeing from a stolen car. Gulfport is just west of Biloxi, wherever the shootings took area at the Broadway Inn Express motel.
Switzer informed news retailers that motel proprietor Mohammad Moeini, 51 Laura Lehman, 61 and Chad Inexperienced, 55, had been killed at the motel. Lehman and Eco-friendly both of those lived and labored at the motel.
WLOX-Tv described that a single witness described a chaotic scene at the motel, with individuals fleeing.
Law enforcement explained that after the motel shootings, a further male was shot through a carjacking in Gulfport, and he afterwards died in surgery. Switzer determined him as William Waltman, 52.
Cooper said law enforcement fired teargas into the store the place Reynolds was holed up. Just after making an attempt to negotiate with him and receiving no response, police went into the shop and observed him lifeless, Cooper mentioned. An autopsy will be carried out to decide how he died.
