Sydney COVID exposure sites added to NSW Health list include Bondi, Maroubra venues as lockdown sets in

Cafes, supermarkets and retail stores were among the new COVID exposure sites announced by NSW Health on Sunday.

The new venues come after Sydney recorded another 30 cases on the first day of lockdown.

NSW Health issued another alert for venues on Sunday night along with a correction after they mistakenly listed Crossroads Hotel in Casula, southwest Sydney, as an exposure site.

The alert was actually meant for the Crossways Hotel on Liverpool Road in Strathfield South – 25km away.

Anyone who attended the hotel from 7pm to 10.30pm on Wednesday must tested immediately and isolate for 14 days regardless of their result.

The alert includes a hair salon in Bondi, a bakery in Coogee and an aquatic centre un Bexley North.
